Alexander Ash

Advises and builds AI products for the Transatlantic Policy Network in Brussels and Washington DC. He began at one of the world's first influencer marketing agencies in the 2000s before moving into venture capital for the creative industry. An Econometrician by training, he loves using numbers to augment a narrative.

Ajit Jaokar

Ajit Jaokar

Course Director in Applied Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford and a Visiting Fellow in AI for Engineering Sciences. He has presented on AI at Capitol Hill, the G7, the World Economic Forum, and the European Parliament, and advised organisations including the UK Ministry of Justice, Verizon, NVIDIA, and Microsoft. He co-founded Erdos Research to mentor professionals through the AI transition. His contribution to this book draws on fifteen years teaching practitioners how AI systems actually work, and the conviction that structured, repeatable methods outperform intuition.
